Offered here is a J.W. Speaker Model 8790 Adaptive 2 LED 7 inch headlight in chrome finish, Part #2001-1191, brand new in the original manufacturer packaging. The Model 8790 is the top tier of motorcycle lighting technology. On-board sensors read the lean angle of the motorcycle as you corner and steer the beam into your actual path of travel, lighting up the dark inside of a turn that a fixed headlight leaves black. Unlike earlier Adaptive units that only steered the low beam, the Adaptive 2 applies the same cornering intelligence to the high beam as well.

The Model 8790 also adds ComfortLite technology on high beam, firing the low beam simultaneously so you get broad foreground coverage plus a hard punch of light down the road, along with useful illumination above the horizon for signs and overhead hazards. It is a DOT and ECE dual-compliant unit finished in bright chrome to match factory trim, and it includes a custom pedestal mounting bracket so it can be fitted to applications that have no conventional headlight bucket.
